Places to Stay

See below for a range of options for your visit to Dungog:

In Style

There are a delightful range of B&Bs, romantic getaways and country retreats. A short drive away, you can stay at some of the area's best tourist destinations, such as the world heritage Barrington Tops and visit the decadent Hunter Valley wineries. Prices vary.

Home Hosting

Every year Dungogians throw open their doors to Festival-goers. 'Home Hosting' is a great option for those wishing to stay in town. At only $60 per person per night, you’ll get a private bedroom, tea and coffee. All 'Home Hosting' is in quality, local establishments with friendly families, close to both the theatres and party venues. There are even some empty homes available for lease.

Caravan or Motor homes

There are plenty of options for those who would like to stay in the comfort of their own caravan or motor home while at DFF. Prices depend on location.

Slumber Party

If you want to be close to the action in town, several halls are set up in town for accommodation; they all have shower, toilet and kitchenette facilities. Bring along a swag, a mattress and a doona or two and have your own slumber party. Cheap.

Stay Away

Newcastle and Maitland offer many more accommodation options and are only a hop, skip and jump away from Dungog. Trains depart daily from Newcastle and Maitland to Dungog daily so you won't miss a thing.
